Ever wonder how did I get here? It could be positive or negative but I feel that the human experience always has you asking yourself that question. I’m not sure I’ll ever understand the sum of all my choices but I’m glad that I’m being selfish and have the chance to make my own choices. #expatlife

Finally had the English afternoon tea party I was after with a friend from NYC! ☕️🍰• Sometimes when life is confusing or you feel like there are many things that antagonize or haunt you, hanging out with good company and indulging in some cheer is totally worth it. Will I do tea every week or once a month? No! Because I don’t got money like that but I can always make room for an occasional indulgence to put the pep back in my step and remind me that life isn’t out to get you... completely. Just don’t give up and enjoy good company and a fun activity when you can! #expatlife

Had one of the best long weekends in a while so I’m going to carry that energy and good vibes with me into the months, weeks, days ahead for the remainder of 2019. I’m going to be cheesy - there’s only one way to go, up! Aka, that’s what I’m doing in this photo and will do in a figurative and literal sense and all the other ways of going up in life 😂🤣 #expatlife

How are you today? I feel like so many people can get caught up in their lives, being selfish (which I think is necessary at points), that they forget to check on the people around them. Even the ones who appear to be living their life like it’s Golden on Instagram. I also feel so many people are eager to casually peek at your life but don’t bother to start a real conversation or just simply say something nice. I wish more people could be kind and just say hey 👋🏾. The world 🌎 is so big so don’t make it easier to get lost. Take that with you and check in on the people you’re insta stalking or say how are you to someone you care about but haven’t seen or heard from in a bit. My food for thought. #expatlife
